Casper Mountain Makers Market and Wyoming’s Food for Thought, put on a Cocktails and Christmas craft fair this past weekend. If you
were looking for last minute, hand made Christmas gifts, this was the place to go.
Not only did they offer a wide variety of artisans, you could also sip your coffee or cocktail to go along with it. The coffee was worth it alone, but the Baily’s made it special. The room was nicely decorated with a very festive, Christmas theme.
Copper Cup Coffee Company
I personally went there to buy Christmas gifts, unfortunately, I liked them so much, I kept everything for myself…. Better luck next time. I enjoyed the woodcraftsmanship by “Wyoming Cowgirl Creations” and “PM Wood Works”. Actually bought a bottle opener to use for my own next festivities.
Made by Vicki Smith out of reclaimed snow fence.
The food was also stellar. “Tasty Bakes” convinced me to try their fruit cake. I have never liked fruit cake. It was awesome. Highly recommended even for the faint of heart.
Bart and Deb Humphries supplied my sweet tooth with as much as it could take with the enormous variety of fudge. They added to the Christmas cheer with creative outfits.
The Wyoming Fudge Lady
Frozen jam was another favorite of mine by “Stacie Risen Designs” Simply delicious and useful on so many things…as you can see here, there is a food theme for me.
“Honeybees Creations” supplied me with bath salts and another avenue for buying handmade soaps and bath items that leave me fresh and clean.
At any rate, I had such a good time, I went back the second day. If you missed it, hit them up next year. Casper Mountain Makers Market has events throughout the year. Look them up on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/caspermountainmakersmarket/. Go support our local artisans. You will not regret it.
I believe most of these people have pages on Facebook or websites. Give me a yell on my contact page if you have a question and I will try to help.
